Good news everybody, we are on the intrawebs, and it feels good 🙂
LiveSale is an online consumer-electronics retail store, based in Nazareth Illit. While not especially large, thanks to their convenient prices and good reputation, they enjoy top places in Zap price-comparison engine. Embedding our content on their product pages allows LiveSale to make their pages friendlier and more informative for their visitors.
In the first phase, we embedded our content on product pages of LCD’s, 37″ and up. If all goes well, we will expand our service to more products on LiveSale. For a comparison of their product pages before and after, compare this product page (without ShopJet content), to this one (with). While our feature-set is still very minimalistic, it gives an idea where we are headed.
We will be monitoring LiveSale product pages in the following weeks to see how ShopJet’s content affects visitor behavior. We would like to see not only whether informative and visually-pleasing content increases the time visitors spend on product pages, and whether more of them convert into buyers, but also we will be experimenting with which sections of the page visitors find more useful and interesting than others.
Any ideas, feedback and critique will be received gladly. You know my email 🙂
Wow – congratulations! Good luck!

This is fantastic news, I love the page – how much code did the Shop need to insert into their original page?

The shop had to insert one line of JavaScript on their template page. For all the products which we don't support, we simply return 404, and display the usual product page.

Your insert looks so much better, easier to read and understand (this site's template is terrible. I'm sorry, but it is).If this is a common problem for many of these small sites, maybe you can help them even more by replacing their entire template to a more modern, friendly look? Perhaps by integrating with Shopify?

There is a thought to integrate with a shopping-cart in some point, and create a full solution for retailers. But currently we want to focus on providing the retailers pretty html to embed on their site, and hopefully finding some model to charge them for it.
